Meet Your Dentist
Dr. Ryan White
For Dr. Ryan White, dentistry is all about helping people feel confident about their smiles and overall health. A Kentucky native, Dr. White grew up in Madisonville and later attended the University of Kentucky, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). His educational background is diverse, including degrees in Accounting, Marketing, and Management, as well as a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. This unique combination of education and life experience allows him to provide patient-focused, ethical dentistry with a deep understanding of healthcare, business, and communication.
Dr. White has advanced education including an implantology certification from Implant Pathways, and training in comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitation under the renowned Dr. Wade Pilling. He is passionate about helping patients restore function and confidence in their smiles—especially those who have struggled with broken or missing teeth. He takes an open, compassionate approach to treatment, guiding patients through their options and ensuring they feel empowered to make the right decisions for their personal goals and their oral health.
Beyond technical skills, Dr. White is committed to serving his patients and leading his team with the utmost integrity. He approaches dentistry with a standard of excellence, keeping patient centered care the priority. His goal is to meet his patient's practical needs while also creating a beautiful outcome. He has a passion and love for teaching allowing his patients to easily understand their options prior to making their decision.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. White is a family man. He and his wife Kate have five beautiful children. Kate and their five are his biggest fan club. He brings all of the fun in the midst of their "NEVER being a dull moment" season of life.

Shannon Asher-Smith has been a valued member of the Eagle Creek team since 2014, leveraging her extensive experience in dental office administration, which began in 1999. She expertly manages daily operations, contributing to a seamless patient experience.
Kristin Samson has been a highly skilled dental hygienist for 20 years, providing exceptional preventive care and promoting optimal oral health. She lives in Lexington with her husband, Dave, whom she has been married to for 20 years, along with their two beloved "fur babies," Sweeney and Chance.
Ashley Weaver is a dedicated dental hygienist who has served at Eagle Creek Dental for 24 years, focusing on comprehensive oral hygiene and patient education. She is a proud parent and cherishes spending quality time with her family.
Jessica is the lead Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA), contributing significantly to clinical efficiency and patient comfort since 2014. She is a devoted wife and mother, sharing her home with her beautiful family and three standard poodles.
Bea Portillo has been a proficient dental assistant since 2000, offering Spanish interpretation for our office and crucial support during various dental procedures. Originally from Mexico, she has been married for 33 years and particularly excels in assisting during complex surgical interventions.
Magnolia Rue has actively contributed to our practice as an EDDA, assisting with patient care and clinical tasks. She enjoys both outdoor adventures and quiet time at home with her pets and a good book.
Kaiden Cantrell effectively supports both front desk operations and hygiene appointments, contributing to efficient patient flow. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hunting, and has a particular fondness for Italian food.
Jessie Trent expertly manages front desk responsibilities, ensuring a welcoming and organized experience for patients. She is a proud parent to four children and a lovable dog, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and unwinding.
